Rev 5, Psalm 149, Lk 19:28-44

 

Interpreters are divided about how to read the book of Revelation. I am sure that the first readers were enduring times of genuine persecution and needed encouragement. They found that in their time of difficulties they could indeed worship Jesus, the lamb who was slain. In all eras since persecuted Christians have found comfort from the book.
